Acquedotto del Fiora has chosen the Easy Pro Suite to manage its production sites, maintenance processes related to plant operations, and corporate vehicle fleet. Acquedotto del Fiora S.p.A. is the sole operator of the Integrated Water Service within Territorial Conference No. 6 “Ombrone” of the Tuscan Water Authority.
The company oversees the full range of services for water abstraction, conveyance, and distribution for civil use, as well as wastewater collection and treatment. It also manages tertiary treatment facilities and systems for the reuse of treated water for irrigation and industrial purposes. In addition, Acquedotto del Fiora designs, implements, and operates desalination plants for seawater and brackish water intended for potable use.
Its Integrated Water Service operations cover the networks (aqueducts and sewer systems) and facilities (water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, desalination units, and sewer lifting stations) across 56 municipalities in the provinces of Grosseto and Siena—an area forming Territorial Conference No. 6 Ombrone, the largest in Tuscany, spanning 7,586 km² and serving over 410,000 residents, with peaks exceeding 600,000 during the summer season.
The infrastructure managed by Acquedotto del Fiora includes more than 8,000 km of aqueduct networks serving approximately 215,000 water users, the corresponding sewer networks, around 290 wastewater treatment plants, and 14 reverseosmosis desalination plants producing a combined total of roughly 4 million liters of drinking water per day.
